Update 2/12

Thus far the spring is going well with lots of position player arriving to camp early. The news from manager Mike Matheny is that he is going to have the team stealing more bases and using there speed. Still no resolution concerning Molina's contract extension, but the two sides have been talking. We can only hope that they are able to reach an agreement soon. Wainwright has been throwing and looking good. No reports of pain or discomfort, he seems to be progressing well and is extremely optimistic about his ability to preform this season, telling the coaching staff that he doesn't want pitch count limitations. That's good but lets hope they agree to err on the side of caution. Beltran says he is fitting in well with his new team. All is well so far, keep it up guys!!

Cardinals Spring Training Has Begun

Spring Training started this Weekend!!! Not long until we get to see the Cards in action again. We lost Pujols in the off season as everyone knows. But the Cardinals will dominate the NL Central without him, don't worry. Our Free agent signings and Wainwright coming back will more than make up for the loss of #5. Right now GM John Mozeliak needs to focus on resigning Yadier Molina so we don't loose him as well after this season. Reports are that Adam Wainwright is feeling well so far and has been throwing off a mound for a few weeks.
